A launch works better when the customer’s next step is ready before the promotional content goes out. Use this checklist to connect the offer, creative and enquiry process.
Make the offer understandable
Write one sentence that explains what you sell, who it is for and why they should choose it. Confirm prices, stock or availability, service locations and any conditions before turning those details into advertising.
Prepare a route from interest to action
- Open the website and contact links on a phone.
- Send a real test enquiry through every contact route you intend to promote.
- Confirm who receives messages and who follows up.
- Prepare a concise reply explaining the next step.
- Check that the customer can complete the purchase, booking or quotation process.
Build the essential creative
Start with a clear introduction, the product or service in context, answers to common objections and one specific call to action. A launch may need social designs, a short video, product images and a landing page. Use the channels your audience uses rather than commissioning every possible format.
Use your brand consistently
Keep names, colours, type, packaging and contact information aligned. If your current identity works, it can support a launch without a complete redesign. See our PHENIX identity project and Greenity packaging project for examples of brand assets.
Assign ownership before launch day
List who approves copy, provides product facts, publishes content, manages advertising and responds to enquiries. Agree a deadline for each. Separate the creative production fee from media spend and any account management.
Record a baseline and learn
Keep a dated record of the launch, spend and available channel data. Track received enquiries, qualified conversations and sales. If interest does not turn into enquiries, inspect the offer and customer journey before simply producing more posts.
